Sam and Kev: Halloween 2012

This Halloween was so fun. It was Jack's first Halloween and he had the cutest costume as a cow. Jack also got to enjoy his first piece of candy ever. He was a happy baby all night while going out. Wyatt was a very adorable cowboy. Unfortunately, he wouldn't wear his hat, but he liked being a cowboy. There was supposed to be a festival in town, but it got cancelled due to all the bad weather from Hurricane Sandy. It was a chilly night (and me and boys had all been really sick), but we decided we were going to go out and have some fun no matter what. We went trick-or treating down one of the main roads in town with lots of cute houses and decorations. There were lots of other kids out and Wyatt was so cute walking down the street looking at all the kids and their costumes. Jack rode on Dad's shoulders most of the time and was just smiling and happy. Wyatt of course has figured out what candy is and he started eating it as soon as we got to one house. Luckily we didn't go to that many houses and get that much candy because he keeps asking for it. Honestly, all the kids walking down the cute streets with nice houses, leaves on the ground... it reminded me of how Halloween looks in a cute kids movie. Everyone was so happy and friendly, it was a lot of fun!! I did miss seeing all of our Richmond friends' kids in their costumes. I'm sure they were all adorable.

Wyatt and I did get to go to the ward fall festival before Halloween (Jack was sick). He had a good time with all the kids there. The ward had set up lots of little games for the kids and then they got candy. Wyatt was able to do some of the games and he really liked it- especially the bowling (anything with a ball really, he kept trying to steal the ball). It was fun to be with our new ward family for some fun!
