Baby Updates

Wyatt is doing great. At his one month check-up he weighed 10 lbs 10 oz. A pretty big boy! Right now he is 7 weeks old and he is staying awake more. He smiles a lot and will coo with us and smile when he is in a good mood. He is a pretty easy going baby. At night he will do some 5-6 hour stretches of sleep so we think we are pretty lucky at this point. At night he will wake up to eat and will usually go basically right back to sleep. He loves looking at lights of course like most babies. He also will just sit in his crib sometimes and stare at these little ring links we have above his crib. He will smile at it and make cooing noises and will sit and do that for a while. He also does that will his dog mobile and his activity gym. His activity gym is super cute- it is a jungle theme and he seems to especially like the monkey hanging from the side. He loves the lights that it has too. The car usually puts him to sleep for a while which works out nice so I can take him out shopping or other places. We all finally went to church this past Sunday and it was a lot of fun to show him off. Wyatt did awesome, but was ready to go by the time it was over. He slept right through all the primary kids singing pretty loudly! He loves to be held; he will go to sleep pretty easily if he is held, but if you put him down he knows!! He has his two month check up in about a week. I am curious to see how much he weighs- when people see him they are surprised he is only 7 weeks. We can't wait for him to meet the rest of our friends and family in about 1 1/2 weeks when we go to utah and california!! It's going to be interesting traveling with a baby, but so much fun to see everyone.
