Washington D.C

Last Sunday we met my grandma in Washington D.C. She was there with her husband and some friends for a conference and they had Sunday off so we decided to meet them and go tour D.C. It was amazing; I had never been there and it was neat to see everything that you see in movies and T.V. All the monuments were great and it is crazy how much American history is out here (and how little there is back out west). We saw pretty much everything that i ever wanted to see: Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, White House, Capital Building, FDR Memorial and tons of others. We also had some extra time to go check out Georgetown University and the surrounding area. That was very pretty fun to see also. We had a lot of fun and I was in awe the entire day, but we were pooped when we got home. Thanks grandma and dave!!
