Christmastime 2013

The week after Thanksgiving we went back to Charlotte for Kevin's implant course. It was a long trip and we were able to do lots of fun things. Kevin's assistant Megan came too which was fun, especially for the boys, she watches them sometimes and they really like "meme". We didn't stay downtown this time, but I was glad because we were able to get a bigger room and be in an area with not as much traffic. The first day we were tired and Kevin took the truck so we decided to stick around the room. The hotel had a nice indoor pool so we went to the pool. Jack was not interested (plus he was a little sick) so he clung to me the whole time which made it hard for me to help and watch Wyatt. We were able to play on the stairs and play in the spa for a little bit, but it was pretty short lived. We were lucky to have a pretty decent continental breakfast every morning and so the boys and I enjoyed that every morning. After the pool we just went back to the room and snacked and napped and played. Later that day we ventured out and took a walk around the hotel. That night we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner which was really YUMMY and we walked around the mall. The rest of the week we did some shopping and saw some funny singing bears and played in Barnes and Noble. Then we also went to a fun Children's Museum. They boys played till they were worn out!!
Sometime in December, we also helped the boys make gingerbread houses from a kit, they had a fun time and enjoyed sneaking pieces of candy every now and then.
