Jack's Second Birthday!

Jack is so funny. He is either very calm and just goes along with anything or some days he is just so up and down, super happy about something and then whining and crying about everything the next minute. He keeps us on our toes and we never really know what to expect. One thing is for sure is that he is very sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses. He loves all animals and especially dogs and horses and loves to pet them and kiss them. He gets kisses from Jordan but gets mad at Charlie because he doesn't give kisses, it is pretty funny! He still does his "awwwww" when he is sad about something. He loves to do everything that his big brother does, but is also actually good to play by himself. He is addicted to the show Bubble Guppies, but also likes Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Mickey Mouse Club House. His favorite toys are his fire truck, his big riding cars, his matchbox cars, and his bulldog stuffed animal, and of course blankie. FOR his birthday we got him a lego train and more tracks. The boys already had one from kurt and laura so now they can each have their own. Mema also got him the Lego construction set and he has been obsessed with the dumptruck and tractor. He really likes tractors and finds them and points them out to us when we are out driving.  He loves to go to church and the library and he says "yay church" or "yay library" when we pull up. He really still has a hard time with nursery, he isn't as social as Wyatt and wants to sort of be left alone and doesn't like to be told what to do lol. He's a bit stubborn and also doesn't want me to leave, oh well! He also loves sporting events, especially football, everytime we pass the high school field he says "football game". He is really growing and getting tall. He weighs about 30-31 lbs and is catching up to Wyatt. He loves to eat and eats mostly everything, lately he has been loving his broccoli, but his favorite is probably pizza. He loves his blankie and his doggie or "goggy". Jack has been talking a lot the past two months. He can pretty much say anything that he wants or needs, but just uses one or two words (maybe three) at a time in a sentence. He can and likes to say prayers, but sometimes likes help. He says them in the most cute little voice ever. He also is always saying i love you or "i bub you". He likes to say things like "mom help you" (mom, i can help you=let me play in the sink), "ok mom",  "bread....jelly on it....plate", "mom, what doing?", "mom, where going?", "whats dat",  bb one of his favorites are "i need it".

January 26, 2014- Jack turns 2!!
Jack's birthday was really fun. I didn't really want to do a big party because it just didn't seem like it would be good for his age and temperment. He likes to play with kids, but mostly will do a lot of things on his own so I think he would be overwhelmed or just ignore everyone so it would be pointless. But we still wanted to do something super fun. So we decided to do Chuck e Cheese. We had a really good time and just had one other family with us, the Collins, Jared and Robin and their kids Lucy and Molly. Lucy is actually Wyatt's age, but Jack sees her a lot and likes her, Molly is 8 months and Jack calls her baby. Jack mostly went on the little rides at Chuck e Cheese. He seemed a little out of it like he was still sleepy or just taking it all in. We got pizza and cupcakes and got to watch chuckie for a little bit. It was nice they had the party table all set up for us with some decorations. Jack was a little bit interested in seeing chuckie, but not really. We had tons of tokens so we rode all the little rides and played lots of games. Wyatt played tons of skiball and loved that. They give the birthday boy an extra 1,000 ticket voucher so we were actually able to get a pretty good prize, a gumball machine. Jack didn't dance at first, but later after the party was about over, we were sitting at a table and he was dancing to the beat. It actually started snowing a bunch while we were inside so we had a slow go home, but we were so glad we were able to get out and celebrate our cute boy! The next day we were snowed in so we were able to relax and celebrate Jack again and open presents.
