A few pictures from our short stint on the front row.

Our 5 year anniversary passed a few weeks ago. Wow, 5 years... sounds like a long time, but it has flown by. We have had so much fun, grown so much and continue to have fun and grow with our little family. We Love our life!! So, for our 5 year anniversary we knew we would be busy at a friends graduation on the actual day so we celebrated a day early by going to a minor league baseball game. I really wanted to go when they had fireworks so it worked out that we were going to go on this particular day. We got front row tickets and we brought Wyatt along. We were having fun getting all settled and they started the National Anthem, and towards the end they lit off some small fireworks and Wyatt got so scared and started screaming. Poor guy...I didn't even think that it would scare him, duh! So we tried to calm him down, but now everything was freaking him out- the announcer, the ball hitting the bat etc. So we decided to go sit in the upper upper part of the field. It ended up working out great and we had an enjoyable night at the game. We game was going extra long so we decided to get in the car and drive a little bit away to see if we could see the fireworks while Wyatt slept in the car. We waited for a while, but the game was going so long that we finally left and didn't get to see the fireworks, but it really was a fun night out.

We were lucky enough to attend our friend Bryson's graduation from dental school. It was really exciting and got us excited about what this next year holds for us.

Kevin had his 28th birthday a week after that and we celebrated by having friends over and hanging out in the backyard, but who knew it was going to be about 100 degrees that day. It was miserable and we had heated up the house cooking the food so the house was even hot. It turned out fun, but I will definitely plan better next time.

We finally got Wyatt a big boy car seat because he is too big for his carrier. I have some funny pictures of him in it. He looks like such a big kid, it's crazy.

My grandma and grandpa came to Virginia and on Friday we went to the Luray Caverns and Charlottesville. It was a lot of driving, but we drove along the famous Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah valley and it was so beautiful. The Caverns were neat and Wyatt liked it so much that he fell asleep. They had an organ in the cave that was connected to different stalagmite and stalactites based on the note and they played it for us which was neat. We also had dinner and did a little shopping at the pedestrian mall in Charlottesville and it is definitely a place I would do back to.

A few small wyatt updates. He is such a good and happy boy. He absolutely loves to laugh and will just randomly start laughing at me or the dogs. We can take him anywhere and he does really well for an 8 month old, everyone is jealous we have such a wonderful happy baby. We got lucky and we love our happy little guy so much!! He has been able to hold his own bottle for while now and he loves his blankie. His loves soft blankets and his favorite one is the crochet blanket that my best friend Jennifer made for him. He goes right to sleep if he had it. It's so cute!
